Over the years, Cerius has found a steady stream of useful, pertinent information and services available to help small and medium businesses. It occurred to us recently that we needed to start sharing these…and as a result, we have added a new section in our newsletter to help your company find valuable offerings that will support and foster growth. It highlights tax incentives, grants, free services and tips for small to mid size companies today. It continues to amaze me when I discover that many executives are not aware of the considerable quantity of excellent assistance available. So in highlighting various tips, services and incentives, it is our hope you will find something beneficial for your organization in each newsletter. And coming in the next issue will be our spotlight on banks around the country that are lending money without guarantees or hassles.

CEO Events

Cerius’ CEO Wine & Dinner Event - Altogether A Delicious Success

Last month Cerius held our first CEO Dinner and Wine Event, exclusively for CEOs, at the Winery Restaurant in Tustin, CA. Everyone was presented with fun activities such as wine pairing, followed by roundtable discussions to include what is their greatest business development challenge currently. The sommelier guided everyone through the best wine and meal choices and Cerius, along with the other CEOs, discussed creative business solutions for the CEOs who volunteered to throw their challenging issue out to the others around the tables. Our goal at these dinner events is to give CEOs a safe haven to meet with their peers in an environment that facilitates good discussions and good times while enjoying fine food and wine.

We appreciate all who shared this event with us and look forward to many more like this in the future.

Recently, LinkedIn featured an online discussion as to whether Steve Jobs understands basic strategic planning principles. The consensus of the majority of respondents (of which there were many) is that Apple has an uncanny ability to create devices that customers did not realize they needed, but then suddenly can’t live without. This unique customer-focused sensitivity surpasses even the imagination of the most engaged innovators and early adopters with such speed that it obsoletes the concept of strategic planning. More
